Welcome! We are SO EXCITED you are here! You are currently browsing our brand new website that just launched recently (10/12/20)! We have been working tirelessly to complete this project for you, and we can’t wait to show you around. If you are new here, we would first like to introduce ourselves in true Southern hospitality fashion.
We are Southern Bride located in the heart of Kernersville, NC right off of Main Street. We are a modern bridal shop rooted in classic tradition and elegance. We specialize in cultivating a relaxed, personalized and memorable relationship with each of our brides that is truly unmatched in the bridal industry. Our consultants are bridal fashion experts and are eager to help you find your dream dress today. We can’t wait to invite you to our store!
Now that you know a little about us, let’s show you around this pretty new website! First, on our menu that runs across the top of your screen you will find most of our offerings. As you can see, we offer bridal gowns, bridesmaids, mothers and flower girl dresses, tuxedos and even prom dresses as well! We really mean it when we say “we can dress your entire wedding.” If you click on each of those tabs you will find our inventory! An important note: our collection changes daily since brides can purchase gowns directly from our store and take it home with them that day, so if you see a dress on our website that you LOVE, feel free to pop in our DMs or give us a call to see if we have it in store! Also, any of the dresses on our website are available for order if your wedding is far enough away; we like to have 8 months, but some vendors are able to get dresses in sooner. Visit the store to confirm.
If you find a dress that you love for any occasion (wedding, mother, bridesmaid, prom, etc.) we invite you to add it to your wishlist! This is a new feature that we are THRILLED to be offering for our clients! You can add as many dresses as you like to your wishlist and create an account to store all of those gowns, so when you arrive at your appointment, your consultant will already know exactly what you like! By creating this wishlist, it will be automatically shared with your consultant and will guarantee that she better understands your vision for your big day and ensures a much more efficient and customized experience in our store.
Are you looking for some inspiration for your big day? Look no further than our “Real Brides” tab on our homepage! We absolutely LOVE showing off our brides and grooms on our website and our social media pages as well! Be sure to follow us @southernbride on all social platforms to keep up with our latest antics! On the “Real Brides” page you will find exactly what you’d expect, real brides that bought from our store and shared their photos with us! The inspiration on this page is amazing for those of you who just aren’t sure what looks best on your body type and are having a difficult time comparing dresses based on the model photos. Also, past brides! Want to be featured on our website and/or on social media?! Email your bridal portraits and bride tribe photos to our social media manager, Cheyenne, at cheyenne@southernbrideinc.com for your chance to be featured!
Another really important feature of our website is at the top left hand corner of your screen that says “book an appointment.” When you click on this button, it takes you to our booking page where you can make your appointment online without having to call the store (we all know that sometimes making appointments over the phone causes way too much anxiety)! We also want to direct your attention to our private appointments page as well. To better serve our brides, we began offering these private appointments for those of you who want the ultimate bridal experience. You really only get to be a bride once, so we want to make it truly special for you. We created these appointments so you can invite a larger number of guests, hold appointments outside of our normal business hours, get stellar discounts on your gown, accessories and your bride tribe’s dresses as well, have a professional photographer document the experience and even be served bubbly and bites during the appointment. I mean, what more could you ask for?! We love to treat our brides with the experience you deserve.
Lastly, we would like to introduce you to the page you are currently reading - the blog! After almost 30 years as Southern Bride, we have tons of knowledge that we can offer to brides just beginning their wedding dress search. That’s why we decided to create this blog to house all of our best tips and tricks for brides as they begin their journey to becoming a Mrs. We will be posting a new blog every single week showcasing our newest collections, sharing fun behind the scenes and helping you find your dream dress.
